About

Shirley first studied sculpting with clay at the University of Regina under Joe Fafard, then later, with Ann Roberts at the University of Waterloo. As a graphic design professional, clay work offered a captivating alternative for her creativity.

Shirley brings an impeccable eye to her clay sculptures; at times sophisticated and at other times whimsical, every sculpted piece reflects her imagination and sense of humour. Even with years of practice and technique, the uncertainties and mysteries of sculpture present absorbing creative paths. Highly collectible, there is something familiar in every piece that draws the attention of art lovers and collectors.
