About

SAAG is kicking off Alberta Culture Days with a classic pancake breakfast! Guests can enjoy a free breakfast, explore the gallery and all of the events planned throughout the day.

Arts Days Programming:

Maria Livington, artist and hoop dancer, will perform a hoop dance, complete with an introduction to the performance and demonstration lessons for visitors.

Local cartoonist Eric Dyck will be facilitating a DIY, make-your-own comic book workshop. His distinctive cartooning style will serve as an inspiration for creating your own comic book!

SAAG Public Engagement (Youth Programs) Coordinator, Emily Promise Allison, will facilitate a self-portrait workshop in the Creativity Centre. Using materials like thread, felt, and soft fabrics, she will teach visitors of all ages the basics of sewing, gluing, and expressing features using uncommon materials.

Finally, thanks to the support of Allied Arts Council Lethbridge SAAG will host the musical stylings of Sass-eh, Gordon Leigh and Dale Ketcheson during the day.
