Growing up in the lower mainland, I have always been drawn to the vast and wild beauty of this province and have spent many hours, hiking, backpacking throughout BC. I always came home with the bit of nature I couldn’t resist picking up ……. a pocket full of rocks.

In recent years I have been able to indulge my passion by learning the arts of lapidary and silversmithing. BC’s diverse geology provides a wide variety of gem deposit types and gem species. nephrite jade, rhodonite, garnet, peridot, jasper, to name only a few. It is a most satisfying journey to find a rough piece of stone in the earth, polish it until it shines, and then place it in a setting that shows off its true beauty.
