About
Once upon a night, the city was weary. With smoke burning our eyes and grief palpitating out of the landfill, some called it a nightmare.
But inside a life-sized bedroom atop a vast Winnipeg parking lot, we can create a different kind of city. Winnipeg is invited into this space where the Red and Assiniboine rivers meet - not to escape, but to dream together.
Step into the bedroom where a weaving loom is waiting. A strip of blue fabric for housing all relatives. Yellow for caring for our burning earth. Green for maintaining our mighty tree canopy. As you weave your textured strip of coloured fabric into the communal loom, your dream of a better Winnipeg is woven into reality. With each strand, you add your dream to a growing tapestry of many hands and shared demands. We are all dream weavers.
