Enjoy a walk along the Yukon River & transform your experience into poems Learn about short form poetry & find words to express the things you notice around you Time permitting, participants will have the opportunity to read their poems by the river This one hour, outdoor, physically distanced workshop will be held RAIN OR SHINE Please bring pen & paper! Must Pre-Register below, there are 12 spots available. kjmunro cultivates poetry in the incomparable Yukon. Her debut poetry collection is contractions (Red Moon Press, 2019). As recommended, people should NOT attend the workshop if they: Have any flu-like symptoms; or have an underlying health condition. have traveled outside the Yukon, Nunavut, N.W.T or British Columbia in the last 14 days. YAC recommends participants wear a mask if they have one. No contact such as handshakes between the participants and the Workshop Instructor. All participants should always adhere to the 2-arms length rule.
