About

No Accidents is the new release from whale-whispering soundscape cellist, Rob Knaggs. Knaggs has performed for belugas on the Hudson Bay, collaborated with throat singers, didgeridoo/yidaki players, and members of the Royal Winnipeg Ballet. He has shared stages with Montreal sound-wizard Tim Hecker, recorded a full length record with punk legend The Saints’ Ed Kuepper, and toured Australia wide with acclaimed US singer-songwriter Toni Childs. Drawing from ambient post-rock and neo-classical minimalism, and a childhood love of visceral punk and metal, Knaggs’ original works move from fiery fuzzing roars to delicate meditative shimmers, showcasing a dynamic performance that is inspiring and bittersweet.

Rob's latest work, No Accidents, is a hit of dramatic orchestral bliss, from the urgent driving pace of Flooded to the shifting melancholic wonder of No Accidents, Knaggs’ delivers an emotive and dynamic return to full ensemble pieces.

Join us at the Little Brown Jug Street Party. Rob Knaggs will be accompanied by Dancer Hilary James, for a performance that will delight all your senses.
