The Waterfront Arts Fair will be a collaborative effort of individual artists, arts groups, organizations and guilds who will be coming together to perform, demonstrate, promote, share and sell their creations. The Fair will be showcasing and celebrating the vibrant Arts and Culture within our community and providing a rare view of the hard work, dedication, skill development, imagination, and self-expression involved in the creation process.

Attendees will be dazzled by live performances throughout the day, the opportunity to meet local artists and watch them demonstrate their processes at the vendors market area and also participate in a variety of hands on family friendly activities.

Baggage Building Arts Centre and Creative Arts Northern Network

The Baggage Building Arts Centre has actively participated in Culture Days Thunder Bay for the past 7 years, (shortly after opening its doors) each year offering a variety of family friendly activities and opportunities for local artists to showcase their many talents. The mandate of the Baggage Building Arts Centre is to promote art, culture and heritage and to provide an inspiring public venue to foster community spirit, cultural exchange and awareness, creative expression and civic pride.

The Creative Arts Northern Network (CANN) is a non-profit organization that encourages and supports the growth of the northern creative sector through collaboration, mentorship, education and enterprise. CANN was conceived in response to the growing recognition that the Creative sector contributes to a vibrant, strong and healthy community. Participating in Culture Days helps scale-up our efforts to build and grow the awareness of this robust, resilient and sustainable sector here in Thunder Bay
