Discover the Village's rarely seen North Property and get an exclusive look at some of Vaughan's oldest heritage buildings. Join one of our costumed historians as you enjoy an early-evening stroll to this hidden space, home to 5 heritage buildings and extensive greenery. Surrounded by fall colours, piece together the story of the Dalziels—a Scottish immigrant family who lived on the site for generations.
Program length: 90 minutes.

Black Creek Pioneer Village, a department of Toronto and Region Conservation Authority, is an immersive 1860s country village in the Toronto region. It features 40 historic buildings, 70 rare animals, 10 gardens with heirloom seeds, and engaging programs for all ages. Visitors interact with costumed educators, experience trades and crafts of the era, enjoy music and performance, and participate in hands-on activities. With 50,000 artifacts, interactive offerings, and special events, the Village encourages reflection on the past and its relevance to the present.
