About

In this program, Living Hyphen will encourage all writers, including those who identify as Indigenous, Black and/or People of Color to explore what it means to indulge in delight and joy through their writing. This workshop will present strategies to push past default stories of hardship, trauma and oppression and endeavor to create stories which are also beautiful, heartbreaking, uplifting, contradictory and constantly unfolding. Living Hyphen is a community that explores the experiences of Hyphenated Canadians; individuals who call Canada home but who have roots in different, often faraway places.

**Register at 416-396-8970. Space is limited.
