About

This contemporary dance class is guided by the languages of movement created by South African contemporary dancers (e.g. Vincent Sekwati Kobo Mantsoe) that use the full body to truthfully express the human experience.

Mpoe Mogale’s primary artmaking form is dance, with a curiosity in the place of Blackness in spaces that deny it, and a wealth of expertise in community-based research, facilitation, and arts administration.

Organizer

St. Albert Cultivates the Arts Society

As a community-based volunteer group, our purpose as the St. Albert Cultivates the Arts Society is to encourage the citizens of St. Albert (and the region) to discover, experience and celebrate the creative endeavours of local artists and performers during Alberta Culture Days, scheduled annually in September.
