Directions: Celebrate Culture Days BC 10th anniversary on September 27, 28, and 29! The provincial launch will be hosted in Mission on Sept. 22 at 1pm, Heritage Park Centre. Join Canadians across Maple Ridge, the province and nation in this annual celebration of culture with activities for all ages and FREE! Our themed activities this year corresponds with community health and well-being. Get a passport and collect stamps at the different locations to win some prizes!.

About

Celebrate Culture Days with us as we explore Maple Ridge’s “fishy” past. Try your hand at different crafts and hands on activities including engaging activities with Artists in Residence Gerry Sheena, Manuel Strain and Natali Leduc; learn how to mend fish nets and hear fishing stories from Kwantlen Elder Barrie Brown.

Take part in our Passport Challenge and be entered into our prize draw for your chance to win exciting prizes!

We invite you to join us afterwards for Mermaid Theatre of Nova Scotia’s production of the popular children’s book The Rainbow Fish at 3pm. Tickets can be purchased online at https://season.theactmapleridge.org/family, in person at our Ticket Centre or by telephone - 604.476.2787.
