The Nipissing Culture Days committee is a volunteer-run collective based on organizational partnerships and representation, which started in 2018. It is hosted by a registered non-profit called Nipissing Region Curatorial Collective (NRCC). To date, the committee has over 25 local organizational members, comprised of non-profits and businesses. Since the committee’s inception, It has successfully implemented culture and arts-based events that showcased large public art installations, wearable puppets, pop-up picnic, art exhibits, art workshops, international cuisine classes, food fest, musical and cultural performances of local artists, cultural music, and exciting ethnic rhythms, chalk art, poetry, mentorship, leadership, and community partnerships. All events are grassroots initiatives and open for all.
