About
Get inspired by our National Feature exhibition, Innovative Threads: Contemporary Weaving! Participants can join us to learn basic weaving techniques and create a personalized woven bookmark with the one of the exhibition's featured artists, Dan Laine. Participants will leave the workshop with their completed project and a mini bookmark loom for future use. All materials for the workshop will be provided.
These free workshops are designed for ages 11 and up and will last 90 minutes.
About the Instructor: Dan Laine (Curious Fox Fibres) is a queer textile artist based in Treaty 6. They are focused on creating handspun and handwoven goods, and exploring the relationship between sustainability and craft mediums.
Please note that each registration needs a unique email address to reserve a spot.
