About
Did you know that Yoga is over 5000 years old? Today people practice yoga for variety of reasons like physical fitness and flexibility or therapeutic reasons such as pain management and even as a spiritual practice. Visit the Yoga Studio, meet Kerry and have your questions answered. What is yoga? Do I need to be flexible to do yoga? Why should I do yoga? Try some gentle yoga poses, breathing exercises and a mini-meditation in a brief, accessible (floor or chair) demonstration class. EVERY BODY can do yoga, but sometimes you just have to try it yourself to know how good your body, mind and spirit can feel after a great class! Space is limited in the studio, so pre-registration is required and additional classes may be scheduled if needed. Please wear a mask until you are on your mat. Class sizes are strictly limited to 5 people at a time so physical distance can be maintained. If you have a mat please bring it.

Organizer
Studio Kerry Yoga Therapy
Diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 2000, Kerry was told "yoga might be good for you". Twenty years later, she opened her yoga studio on Main Street in Palmerston with a mission to help others find their own path to wellness. Kerry's focus is on therapeutic yoga and yoga for wellness. This means honouring your body and making healthy lifestyle choices both on and off the yoga mat. After her initial yoga teacher training in Guelph, Kerry pursued Yoga Therapy Certification from Breathing Deeply Yoga Therapy school and now with over 1000 hours of training is finishing up her final step to be recognized as Certified by the International Association of Yoga Therapists.
