About

Meet the artists and explore The Eclectic Works gallery show at the CPAC Lobby Gallery!

This open house event is on September 27th from 1:00 to 3:00 pm. The exhibition features the works of Carmen J Stanek, Colleen Freeman, and Gladys Javorsky.

Colleen Freeman:

"Welcome to my whimsical world of garden art. I enjoy incorporating an eco-friendly, paper-mache/cement mix with found objects, natural and otherwise. My happy place is getting swept up in the creative process and losing all sense of time. It is great fun to share my joy with kindred spirits. When the finished piece finds its way to someone else's heart, then the cycle is complete."

Gladys Javorsky:

“Working in acrylics and mixed media, texture and movement play a vital role in my artwork, adding depth and dimension that invite the viewer to engage with my pieces on multiple levels. I love experimenting with abstracted ideas, using a variety of materials and tools. The viewer is invited into their own perceptions that resonate with their curiosity and experiences.”

Carmen J Stanek:

"Rooted in nature, my work blends acrylic and mixed medium to form abstracted echoes of the real. Shapes emerge and dissolve – like memory traces through landscape – revealing

the quiet tension between what we see and what we feel. Through layered textures and organic rhythm, you are welcomed into my sense of space and time."

Everyone is welcome to come meet the artists at their open house event.

Their show runs from September 12 to November 2.
