About
Scallions at Home is a durational interactive performance facilitated by Ashley Culver; this public exchange invites participants to receive a green onion plant grown from kitchen scraps in recyclable glass jars in return for a written response to the questions: “Where will this plant live in your home?” The event will run until all plants are distributed, fostering reflection on care, abundance, sustainability, and domestic space. Ashley Culver invites the public into her writing process and plant research and will create an artist book collecting the responses.
This is presented in collaboration with Summerworks and Toronto Public Library.
