About
The Surrey Fusion Festival creates interconnectedness between cultural pavilions organizers by inviting them to participate in a physically distanced, paint-by-numbers billboard painting, where individually painted squares will be put together as a combined art piece and displayed at Holland Park from September 24 to October 24, 2021.
The billboard artwork represents unity between cultural pavilions through a custom painted photograph of the festival site. The billboard will provide happiness and hope to pavilion organizers, as they reflect on festival memories and look forward to the 2022 event.

Organizer
Surrey Fusion Festival
Surrey Fusion Festival is the ultimate celebration of food, music and culture. Festival organizers are proud to work with communities representing different ethnicities and cultures from around the world and honour the traditions and history that they share with attendees. Since the festival’s inception in 2008, the event has grown to showcase over 50 different cultures, with pavilions offering international foods, displays of artefacts and textiles, and multiple stages featuring musical and dance performances.
It is the festival’s mandate to provide ample opportunities for attendees to learn and engage with different cultural activities during the event, including participating in dance lessons, learning how to cook cultural cuisine, and learning about local businesses and not-for-profit organizations. The festival has something for everyone and provides attendees with a safe space to try new cuisine, experience and learn about other cultures, and spend time with friends and family.
