About
As part of Alberta Culture Days, Bertha Kennedy Catholic Community School students will experience the Adowa Dance from Ghana. This interactive workshop introduces children to African cultural traditions, showing when and why the Adowa is performed and how it expresses storytelling, community, and celebration. Guided by a cultural instructor, students will explore rhythm, music, and movement, gaining joy, unity, and a deeper appreciation for cultural diversity.
