The 2021 dance: made in canada (d:mic/fac) edition – inTO focus features Toronto-based contemporary dance artists, Blue Ceiling Dance, Patricia Beatty, Lua Shayenne Dance Company, Kendra Epik, SaMel Tanz in a shared program. inTO focus offerings also include onsite community exhibition, online dance film screenings and a new podcast series, The ‘D’ Word with hosts, Britta B. and Mingjia Chen. This d:mic/fac edition is in partnership with Canadian Stage.

dance: made in canada/fait au canada Festival is a biennial contemporary dance festival founded in 2001 by Yvonne Ng, with the vision to present works by Canadian choreographers who possess unique artistic visions and come from all cultural backgrounds. In 2011, d:mic/fac Festival evolved into a repertory festival format featuring new and existing works by established to emerging choreographers and multidisciplinary dance artists working in Canada. The Festival’s Co-Directors are Janelle Rainville, Jeff Morris and Yvonne Ng (since 2011).
