About
Sesabίnsan & Kegόn / Threads & Things: Collaborative textile creation in Âjagemô
Join Ottawa-based artist Greta Grip for a special, hands-on workshop, where you’ll co-create a collaborative textile piece inspired by yarn-bombing. This collective creation will weave together textile voices from coast to coast to coast, forming a powerful shared statement at the heart of the Resistant Fibres exhibition.
Bring your own materials to complete a textile square or use the supplies provided!
Artist Greta Grip and curator Julie Graff will be on hand to talk about their work and share a behind-the-scenes look at the exhibition at the start of every hour.
From 4 to 5 p.m., join us for the launch of the textile installation to celebrate and thank the makers!
