Get ready for live steel drum music at the library, with Niagara’s very own PK Hummingbird performing some favourite Caribbean tunes and pop music to the soca beat. PK’s Patrick Nunes has been teaching steel pan music for over 50 years and was the first captain of Winnipeg Steel Orchestra, the oldest steel orchestra in Canada. As part of the performance, you’ll be treated to a hands-on steel drum workshop so you can make some music of your own.
