About
Dauphin's local writers have been challenged to write a short play for the 2025 "I Love to Read" staged reading series. To be held in February of 2025, each event will bring you a new PLAY to listen to, a PIE to eat, and a PINT with which to wash it all down.
We want these local plays to be as good as they can be, so we are hosting a PITCH SESSION at Obsolete Brewing. If you want in on this challenge, if you have a germ of an idea, if you already have pages and characters and scenes--bring them with you for this informal session which will breathe fire into your creative play writing. If this project intrigues you as a reader/actor, come along as well.

Dauphin Culture Days is put on each year by the creative folks at the Watson Art Centre, the Dauphin Public Library, the Dauphin Art Group, Countryfest Community Cinema, and just about any other creative person or group we can cajole into playing along with us. We know that creativity is at the heart of humans of all ages and our goal is to get our town to create, participate, and share.
