About

Join a community of BOOKLOVERS as they take in readings, author visits, a popup bookstore and writing workshops!

Bonnie Randall will be reading from her newest publication 'The Shadow Collector'. Psychic shadows and cryptic packages hold the key to unlocking long-buried secrets...we like to say that Bonnie will put the BOO in booklovers...and for the read you are invited to 'dress' in your seasonal (halloween) best!

Variant books will be setting up a popup bookstore in the Cultural Centre lobby...graphic comics and novels from the winner of the Harry Kramer Award for Most Outstanding Comic Shop in all of Canada!

(2019 Shuster Awards)

Saturday evening go to the Canadiana Musical Theatre! (a not free event)

Round out the weekend with a writing workshop with writer Roberta Laurie as she walks you through the process of writing memoirs.

These are all free events...the reading by Bonnie might be for an older audience - 14+. Variant Books are for all ages!! Roberta's memoir workshop requires registration.
