Organizer

Omid Moterassed

Omid Moterassed is an Afghan-Iranian multidisciplinary artist from Turtle Island. His work seeks to conserve the spiritual legacy of Afghan-Iranian culture, swimming in its mystical investigation of God, mythology, ritual, and death. Through the lens of biomimicry and a Joycean free association, he cradles the intersection between analog filmmaking, site-specific installation, performance art, and clothing. He is an alumnus of the Cartae Open School and founder of Laylee.
