About
This is a 4-part creative workshop series (extending beyond BC Culture Days) that uses poetry and collage to help participants explore and process complex emotions—anger, sorrow, love—while building a sense of belonging through community art-making. These sessions, led by Hermanas Sin Fronteras founder Morgana Amaro guide participants on a journey of shared self-discovery and pathways to inspiration through journaling and spoken word performance provide an inclusive, accessible, and creative alternative to the growing isolation and hostility amplifi ed by social media. The workshops aim to foster emotional well-being, intercultural connection, and community resilience among Vancouver’s diverse youth and immigrant populations.
