My project, The Spores of Joy, is a community treasure hunt where you can find hidden art installations of tree fungus casts painted by the community of PG. When you find these treasures, please take a selfie and post to social media using #SporesOfJoy and @BCCultureDays. Please be mindful of the traffic, neighborhood and each other when on this adventure! The first person to successfully post a photo with all 26 Spore Units by 10:00pm(PST) September 29th, 2019 will receive a free and custom art workshop for their friends and/or family lead by myself! If you have discovered all 26 units please message me on social media or through my website so I can see your hard-earned photos and let you know if you have won.

This event is free.

My name is Sebastian Nicholson and I am an emerging artist. In my home town of Prince George I am striving to build connection and create a stronger community. I practice and teach art professionally at Two Rivers Gallery and continue to work with charity organizations in the hopes of better understanding my city. Connection is what my art is all about and I work on it year round!
