About

September is Nova Scotia Polish Heritage Month. Enjoy displays highlighting Polish culture, including costumes, crafts, food, travel, and jewellery. There will be giveaways and door prizes, and this year's featured author William Kowalski will be signing books.

Schedule of Activities:

1:00-2:30PM - Doors open. Enjoy browsing the displays.

2:30-4:00PM - Join us for a screening of the critically acclaimed film, Cold War. Nominated for three Oscars and set in the 1950s, Cold War tells the story of a music director who falls in love with a singer and tries to persuade her to flee Communist Poland. (Polish with English subtitles). Rated 14A | 2019 | 1h28m, for Ages 14+

4:00PM - After the film, there will be a discussion and more chances to browse the displays.
