Master engraver/artist Wesley Bates will introduce patrons to the intriguing world of wood engraving and print-making. He has conducted innumerable workshops and is familiar with exposing newcomers to this field of artistry.
Jerrica Lin will show participants how to bring the beauty of flowers into their own home.

Wood engravings, paintings in oils, acrylic and gouache, drawings, etchings, glass engravings, handmade books and letterpress work are what you will find when you visit Wesley Bates' gallery, studio and printery in Clifford Ontario.
Primarily known for his Wood Engraving work, Bates has illustrated for major publishers such as McClelland & Stewart, Penguin, Random House, HarperCollins, Larkspur Press, Porcupine¹s Quill, Bird & Bull Press, Gaspereau Press, and Running the Goat Press, He has illustrated books by such authors as W.O. Mitchell, Wendell Berry, Ed McClanahan, Richard Taylor, Stuart McLean, Timothy Findley, Russell Smith, Mary Dalton and Don McKay.
Bates’ work is represented in public collections including, The Art Gallery of Hamilton, Laurentian University, Glenbow Art Gallery, Grimsby Public Gallery, University of Kentucky, Thomas Fisher Rare Book Library and San Francisco Public Library - Special Collections. His work is held in private collections in Canada, the United States, England, Ireland, Australia, Spain, Japan and China.
Jerrica Lin is a talented young florist who has operated her own business for several years. She also sells here wares at local markets.
