About
You are invited to attend the annual Walk for Peace on Sunday, September 24th. Hosted by Living Peace (based in Yorkton) the walk will be held starting at the Gallagher Centre (lobby), starting at 1:00 p.m. The Walk for Peace commemorates the United Nations International Day of Peace held annually on September 21st.
Everyone will gather in the Gallagher Centre lobby and then proceed for a short, 15 to 20 minute walk returning to the lobby for refreshments. The entire event may last up to one hour.
The Walk for Peace is a free event intended for people interested in peace and discovering ways to live a more peaceful life. We promote a Culture of Peace. Those attending, but who are unable to go on the walk, are welcome to attend and can remain in the lobby and get a head start on the refreshments. We hope you can join us on Sunday for this event. Please tell others about this event and bring a friend if you are able.
