About

This year's annual Arts Milton Community Project is moving outdoors, and downtown. Arts Milton is working with artists Aparna Rangnekar and Angela Ferguson to present a Tree of Life project. Visit Downtown Milton during Milton Culture Days to witness three 5-6 ft tall wooden tree sculptures. Join the artists and Arts Milton on September 26, 11-3 pm and September 27, 11-3 pm (rain date October 3, 11-3 pm) when we invite the community to add life to the tree through the act of tying on coloured fabric.

Find the trees:

1. Charles Street Parkette (Corner of Charles St and Main St)

2. Oh Look, Fabric! (On the Blvd)

3. Across from St Paul's Church (Corner of Brown St and Main St)

Thank-you to the DBIA for the warm welcome, Milton Home Hardware for the donation of lumber, and Oh Look, Fabric! and the Halton Hills Quilter's Guild for the donation of fabric.

Covid 19 Precautions:

-Artists and volunteers will be present to guide participants verbally

-Artists and volunteers will wear gloves to hand participants fabric scraps

-Chalk demarcations on the sidewalk will indicate where participants should queue

-Hand sanitizer will be provided
