About
Celebrate culinary storytelling through paper art! In this hands-on workshop youth will explore the significance of food in Mid-Autumn Festival traditions. Participants will choose a significant dish or food of the Mid-Autumn Festival and re-create it as a playful paper cut illustration. No drawing experience required! This session encourages creativity and cultural reflection, all while learning the basics of paper layering and cut-out techniques.

Organizer
Meegan Lim
I'm a freelance illustrator and arts facilitator based in Brampton, creating work that explores themes of culture, food, and community care. Throughout the year, I collaborate with organizations, schools, and private clients to create illustrations and lead engaging art workshops that center storytelling, cultural identity, and community connection. My practice bridges visual art and facilitation, with a focus on accessibility and representation. Through events like Moon & Memory, I aim to create inclusive spaces for reflection, creativity, and intergenerational exchange.
