Join Reconciliation Melfort and other community organizations to recognize National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, a day that coincides with Orange Shirt Day. It recognizes the tragic legacy of residential schools, the missing children, the families left behind and the survivors of these institutions.
Events will begin at MUCC track with a welcome followed by a community round dance.

National Day for Truth and Reconciliation Planning Committee
Since 2017, various community groups from Melfort have come together to recognize the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. Although the format has changed slightly over the years, the event always included elders, drummers, and a community activity, such as a round dance or walk.
