The members of Ol' Child met each other at recurring local open jam nights that are better described as healing sessions. Ol' Child aims to bring this magic to all who welcome it with their live performances with eclectic styles of blues, classic rock, r&b, soul, funk, jazz and original tunes.

Ol' Child has previously performed at the FirstOntario Performing Arts Centre as part of Celebration of Nations and the Downie Wenjack Fund Gord Downie Legacy Concert. The band demonstrates how people of all ages and backgrounds can unite through groove, dance and play.

The #Niagara Performs is a series of digital free performances presented by the FirstOntario Performing Arts Centre. Although physically distant, we can still socially gather. Experience and engage with the best of Niagara's artists and arts organizations from the comfort of your home on #NiagaraPerforms!

THE FIRSTONTARIO PERFORMING ARTS CENTRE

Opening its doors in fall 2015, the FirstOntario Performing Arts Centre is a 95,000 square foot academic and cultural complex comprised of four state-of-the-art performance venues. The Centre has been a vital component in the renaissance of St. Catharines, serving as the catalyst in thoroughly modernizing the area and reinforcing the brilliance of Niagara Region’s diverse cultural cluster.

Each year the Centre presents Culture Days activities for the Community in partnership with the City of St. Catharines Cultural Services Office, local organizations and artists.

In 2020, Due to COVID, the PAC has initiated a series of digital performances the #NIAGARAPERFORMS series and is pleased to offer feature digital performative experiences during Culture Days.
