About

Artist Trading Cards are small works of art (2.5” X 3.5”) that are swapped or given away but never sold. Artist Trading Cards provide an opportunity for more people to explore creativity without the intimidation of a large canvas or cost of large volumes of supplies, and to own art created by others without the high cost usually associated with art.

The Artist Trading Card: Meet, Make and Swap event would happen during the regular meeting time of the ATCs @ the MAC Drop-In group with the intent of:

1. Give members of the ATCs @ the MAC Drop-In group to share and swap their art.

2. To introduce people to ATCs

3. To give people an opportunity to create and trade their own ATC.

Specifications

Members of the ATCs @ the MAC Drop-In group, along with other ATC artists will be invited to display their ATCs, offer some to give away and trade with other creators. Members of the public will be invited to come in to see the ATCs that artists have created, create their own ATC and swap ATCs.

Organizer

Michelle Manke

I am a teacher and self taught artist with a heart for encouragement. It is my belief that creativity is accessible to all and I strive to create opportunities for people to explore and discover their own creative journey.

Being a voracious learner, I dabble in many different creative pools including singing and music, writing and story telling, fibre arts and mixed media.
