About

We are excited to have guest speakers joining us on the following dates:

September 25: Meeting Theme: Communication & Leadership. We are excited to have Glenn Hagel, former Distinguished Toastmaster who has competed on the World Stage. He served over 20 years in Public service as Speaker of the House for the Saskatchewan Legislative Assembly and Civic Leadership in Moose Jaw. He will share his story on how his involvement in Toastmasters helped propel his career.

October 2: Meeting Theme: Celebrating Diversity. Our Guest Speaker, Irma Goosen is a Toastmaster, TEDx speaker, author, and advocate for anyone integrating into a new community and embracing a new culture while staying true to their roots. She offers insights to associations and large corporations on leveraging the talents and leadership of legal immigrants. Irma also has a decade of experience in working with youth through the Toastmasters Youth Leadership Program.

October 9: Meeting Theme: Changing our World Through Humour. Distinguished Toastmaster, Darlene Dafoe Davies is an award winning story teller who enjoys helping people see the funny side of life. When we can laugh together, our relationships become stronger.
