About

"Ces objets qui nous habitent" by José Luis Torres

August 8 - September 28, 2024

Main Gallery

At the intersection of art and architecture, or rather the product of their synergy, Ces objets qui nous habitent is a space of freedom where all kinds of exchanges are possible. The aim of this exhibition project is to offer an opportunity to explore the relationship between open and built space, between the static and the dynamic, between outside and inside.

The entire intervention will be based on found objects, salvaged materials and vernacular techniques. The project thus involves appropriating the exhibition space through an exploratory practice in which the use of the site reflects our way of inhabiting our world.

The various stagings will be articulated in the apparent precariousness of their assemblages, enabling new configurations of reality to be formed. Objects of all kinds gradually become actors in their own right, in a process of transformation that affirms their material identity in a new way.
