About
The end of September is the national celebration of Culture Days, and also the Harvest Moon season to be celebrated across our culturally diverse communities, including the Mid-Autumn Festival featuring Asian culture and moon cake traditions.
Being a part of Culture Days, our workshop is a family-friendly event and free activity open to all. Led by the local artist and community members, the event program will have artist talk and group discussion for interactive learning, plus moon cake tasting and photo op for participants to share their creativity and inspiration about the moon themed arts and culture.
The not-for-profit event is funded and supported by the local community organizations to create and promote more neighbourhood activities and connections in a diverse and inclusive environment. It will be an in-person gathering in central Richmond with the purpose to bring people together for our cultural harmony and community wellbeing. All attendees are required to follow provincial public health guidelines and local regulations, wearing masks are encouraged and optional for your participation.
This cultural workshop is made possible with the support from City of Richmond. Light refreshments and snacks will be provided, plus prize draws and giveaways.
*Online registration is required with limited space, please click the separate registration info link for more event details and join us for art fun.*

Organizer
Leit, creator
I'm a local artist and event organizer in lower mainland. As an active community member with arts and culture practices, I love to create and share hands-on activities and intercultural experience in our community.
Currently, I'm the project leader to work on the community events in collaboration with different organizations and businesses for community participation and connections. This September, I will host a Culture Days activity in Richmond to invite the public for learning and inspiring about Harvest Moon culture and Mid-Autumn Festival traditions through a creative and positive way.
Let's create, share and celebrate arts and culture in our neighbourhoods to build and support a diverse and inclusive community for everyone!
