Organizer

Leah Murray

My artisanal business, byteSMART Digital Visions, is all about the marriage of arts and technology, as related to imaging, sound, print, prose, video, and verse.  STEAM (Sciences, Technology, Engineering, ARTS, and Mathematics), not just STEM, in other words.

My literary and visual arts practice was born out of the legends in and of the landscapes of planet earth. Information about my artwork can be found at my web site, https://www.leahmurray.ca.

My teaching practice is centered around the convergence of the arts and technology and is aimed at making both of these easily accessible to people of all ages and stages. A list of my offerings in this line can be found on my Digital Services website at https://bytesmart.ca/current-service-offerings/digital-and-arts-training/.

I have been fortunate to find opportunities for doing this work on two continents in the northern hemisphere. Using digital arts, a habit of continuous learning, and ongoing training in classical and contemporary writing, drawing, photography, music and videography, I have been developing my “Celtic eye”, and applying that lens to the world around me.
