About
Drop-in and enjoy a live performance at Mill Lake Park from Western jaguar. Free, no registration required! This session is partnering with "Go Play Outside."
Born in a bedroom in Mission, British Columbia, Western Jaguar is the ever-evolving musical endeavour of multi-instrumentalist, Jeffrey Trainor. Taking influence from artists such as Youth Lagoon, The 1975 and The War On Drugs, Western Jaguar's sonic footprint creates an unmatched mix of indie rock, dream pop and shoegaze. Western Jaguar has also drawn comparisons to Nada Surf, Slowdive and Real Estate. Western Jaguar won a 2019 Fraser Valley Music Award for "Live Performer of the Year" and has been nominated on 4 separate occasions in various categories. Western Jaguar has performed over 85 times across the province of British Columbia and have built a reputation as an authentic and spirited live performer throughout their history. With Western Jaguar's newest album, "Vacationland" releasing in September, the best is still yet to come.
