About
These three programs are a cross- representation of our culture drawing from the areas of: indigenous healing garden/museum; veteran/military affairs, the art of writing, services provided by the library , historical experience events, entrepreneurial venture--art gallery, town revitalization/education
The program Toast n Coffee has been on the air for over 20 years with the host n programmer , Jeanne Alexander. Eclectic in nature, Toast n Coffee showcases organizations and individuals as well as building public awareness concerning same. Hence, metaphorically, the toast is the tribute and coffee is the interview/discussion . Toast n Coffee also gives organizations and individuals a forum which allows concerns and considerations to be brought to the public's attention.
Jeanne has been awarded, in part for volunteering as host and programmer of Toast n Coffee ,The Queen's Platinum Jubilee Medal. As well she nominated for the Saskatchewan Seniors Mechanism Celebrating Seniors Arts and Culture Award
Toast n Coffee an hour long program runs weekly year round. It helps listeners stay abreast of current events and issues in their community.
