About

Richmond Potters' Club September 21st, 12PM-4PM welcomes the public to visit us at the Richmond Cultural Centre. In the Rotunda you will witness potters throwing clay pots on the wheel and handbuilding.

Look for our interactive station outside the front of the Cultural Center where the public can take part building a small pot/ornament. Come get your hands dirty and use your imagination to create your work of art.

September 22nd 11AM-3PM come visit us in our studio on the second floor of the Richmond Cultural Centre. Come see what it is like in a day as Potter. Our members will be working in the studio throwing, handbuilding and glazing their pots. You can look at some of our members finished works of art.

Maybe you have questions about our classes, becoming a member or just what is happening around you in the studio. We are happy to answer your questions and look forward to seeing you.

Organizer

Richmond Potters' Club and the Richmond Cultural Centre

Richmond Potters' Club has been part of the community for over 50 years. We are a group of many levels of potters from beginners to seasoned hobby potters. We come together from many cultural back grounds creating a supportive community for adults of all ages who share a passion of working with clay. We offer classes to the public and an opportunity to become a member. Our members work together and with the staff of the Richmond Cultural Centre to see that we have a well functioning studio and adhere to safety protocols.

Through out the year we are involved in the community with events like this or donations of pots to many community programs. We hold Pottery sales inviting the public to purchase and view our pots. Our commitment to giving back to the community and promoting the arts in a welcoming way is our vision.
