About

You’ve written the darn thing, and because you’re a writer, you know it needs editing. You also know that your first draft is mostly garbage on a stick, as all first drafts are and don’t let anyone tell you different. Before you send it out to your friends or your writing group or to Random House (HA HA on that one!), it’s a great idea to do some polishing of your own. Using over-written work from a variety of external sources, this workshop will teach you to hone in on your own writing and catch the most common editing challenges all writers face.

Details: 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM at Camrose Public Library

Break between 12:00-1:00 PM (Pizza and beverages will be provided)

Title: Of course you can edit your own work!

Kimmy’s sixth book, Nuala: A Fable, was shortlisted for the Georges Bugnet Award for Fiction.
