About

Moon Festival is a traditional festival celebrated by many East and Southeast Asian people. It is the second-most important holiday after Chinese New Year in China. It is a time for reunion among families and friends, it symbolizes harmony and unity.

This virtual celebration event provides opportunities for people to gather on ZOOM to enjoy a variety of traditional Chinese performing arts, such as singing, dance, traditional instrument play , and poetry reading. As well as learning how to make moon festival pastries and how to perform Belly dance.

Redleaf Cultural Integration is a non-profit organization based in Burlington. Our vision is working together with people of diverse cultures, backgrounds, and ages to enhance the quality of life in our community.

Our mandate is to provide customized programs to help newcomers build a connection with the local community; to provide stimulating recreational programs to strengthen physical and mental wellbeing; and to organize cultural themed events to promote multiculturalism and inclusiveness.

Our year-round activities include community Choir, Dance, and a variety of programs for Chinese seniors. We also organize an annual Lunar New Year Celebration to promote cultural diversity and community inclusion.
