About

This will be an any skill level drop-in event where attendees will create a diary or journal comic. This event will dive into the open format of journal comics and different approaches to them. No drawing skills are needed. Suggested age range is from teens and up.

All materials are included but you are welcome to bring your own art supplies.

City Side Café will generously be providing a 10% discount on their menu for all attendees!

This workshop will be facilitated by Brampton artists Joy San and Bianca Delmar of Brampton Indie Comics & Zines (BICZ).

Organizer

Brampton Indie Comics & Zines (BICZ)

Brampton Indie Comics & Zines (BICZ) is a Brampton collective that celebrates local indie comics, zines, and art. BICZ believes in accessible and DIY self-publishing, hands-on creation, and collaboration, all of which are more necessary than ever in the current landscape of economic and social uncertainty, AI, and isolation. By providing a fun and safe space to learn, create, and collaborate with one another, BICZ hopes to foster Brampton’s indie comics and zines community.
