About

Visitors can learn more at the history wall on display with more information about some famous people from Haiti. Visitors will have a chance to see a presentation on "Rouleauville" Calgary's French connection.

Additionally, there will be poster presentations about Caribbean Identity and famous Black Canadians. Other activities include live music and cultural performances, a Kid's Play Zone, and a Caribbean Multicultural Brunch.

Association de la Communute Haitienne de Calgary/ Haitian Association of Calgary

The Haitian Association of Calgary (Association de la Communaute Haitienne de Calgary) is a non profit organization that aims to bring Haitian people together to share the Haitian culture with all people in the community of Calgary and surroundings. During the year, we host a Flag day uring which Haitian food, the Flag history and music are shared. We participate in various festivals such as Carifest in Calgary, Cariwest in Edmonton, Franco Festival, Unganisha and Folk Arts Festival. We also take take in Black History Celebration and other events in collaboration with other Caribbean countries.
