About
In advance of the Lantern Parade, Playmakers! Theatre School will be organising a number of community-based workshops so that children, adults, families and friends will have the opportunity to make their own lanterns to carry in the lantern procession.
PLEASE NOTE:
* Workshops are open to all - but children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
* Feel free to arrive at any time, but please allow at least 2 hours to complete your lantern and let it dry.
* Lantern materials will be provided on a Pay-What-You-Can basis. A recommended donation of $10 per lantern is appreciated!
* Lantern accessories (LED lights and carry-poles) and kits will be available for a small donation at most workshops.
* All lanterns must be taken away at the close of each workshop. There is no place to store lanterns - not even overnight.
