About
On October 21st, come out (online) to a virtual Open-Mic with UBC Slam Poetry! We will have feature poets joining us, and anyone is welcomed to perform, create, and connect in our passionate and loving community! You can sign up to perform or enjoy other poets’ incredible talents as an audience member. Follow our socials for more info!
UBC Slam is a club situated in the stolen and unsurrendered land of the Musqueam people. We are a proud community of poets and audience members. Catch us also organizing and holding special workshop events. They are designed to ease you into the world of poetry with prompts, laughter and company. These events are often led by professional, published poets across Canada too! So, you'll be hanging with the best.
