About

Lumen is a festival that showcases light based new media, media art, and projection based installations. This event invites citizens to explore the city through a new lens - one that illuminates Waterloo through art and technology.

CIRCUIT MAKERS: GLOW, SHINE, CONNECT!

Street lights first came to King Street Waterloo in 1911. Help us light up the night in our pop-up Light Lab. We will make our own electricity and together create a unique one night light instillation. The more participants we have, the brighter the light will be! For more information about the museum, visit:

Organizer

Arts & Culture, City of Waterloo

With arts, culture and heritage being of such importance to our city's livability, we have developed our culture plan with the core vision to: break down barriers to cultural activities and engagement at the city and within the community; identify opportunities and bring ideas, people, and resources together to help make great things happen; encourage creativity and creative expression in all areas of community life. Go out and explore arts, culture, and heritage in Waterloo!
