About
What stories live inside your favourite dishes? In this cozy workshop, participants will illustrate a personal or family recipe while sipping Chinese tea and enjoying light snacks. Participants will be guided through the illustration process and encouraged to reflect on how food connects us to memory, family, and culture. Whether you’re a seasoned drawer or trying illustration for the first time, this session is all about celebrating the heartwarming connections behind what we eat.

Organizer
Meegan Lim
I'm a freelance illustrator and arts facilitator based in Brampton, creating work that explores themes of culture, food, and community care. Throughout the year, I collaborate with organizations, schools, and private clients to create illustrations and lead engaging art workshops that center storytelling, cultural identity, and community connection. My practice bridges visual art and facilitation, with a focus on accessibility and representation. Through events like Moon & Memory, I aim to create inclusive spaces for reflection, creativity, and intergenerational exchange.
