About

Join artist Nalidsa Sukprasert in creating drawings inspired by the beauty of the plants and landscape, with the charm of the eclectic, stone-clad Leir House. This will be a great opportunity to create artworks inspired by nature. At the end of the event, we will display the artwork together on location to give each other support and encouragement.

Requirements:

1. Please bring your own art supplies (All types of mediums are acceptable)

2. A folding chair to sit and draw (If needed)

3. This event is open to all ages. There is no requirement for art skills and all level of experience are welcome.

Note: This is not an art class, but we can learn from one another.

The Mission of Penticton & District Community Arts Council is to increase and broaden opportunities for the public enjoyment of and participation in cultural activities, while working closely with all levels of government to address the cultural needs of the Community.

This year the Penticton & District Community Arts Council (PDCAC) is holding the annual Arts Rising Festival on the national Culture Days weekend. Culture Days’ theme this year is creativity, arts, and well-being with a focus on events that are participatory in nature.
